| Description | Mitigate public safety risks associated with an existing highwall near the pedestrian entrance of the Tour Ed Mine and Museum Site (Project Site) in Fawn Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. onsists of drilling/coring six (6) exploratory geotechnical boreholes; sampling soil and rock; properly abandoning/sealing the boreholes upon completion. Borehole depths will range from 10 feet to approximately 30 feet. Additional items of work include mobilization and demobilization of all necessary equipment and materials to perform the work, erosion and sedimentation control efforts, site restoration, and seeding. |
