Description

The Project generally consists of widening approximately 3 miles of 45th East from 1st Street to 49th North, upgrading two existing roundabouts (1st Street and Lincoln Road), and constructing a new roundabout (Iona Road). To accommodate construction funding availability, this project may be divided into phases, as determined at the sole discretion of the owner. The roadway widening varies from increasing the existing 2 lanes to 5 lanes from 1st Street to Lincoln Road and to 3 lanes from Lincoln Road to 49th North. The project includes new curb, gutter, sidewalk, and a new storm drainage system along with other improvements to signing, striping, lighting, and other miscellaneous roadway features.
