Description

Scope of work for installing A/C at Mayo High School Room 302 shall include but not be limited to the following: Remove the existing unit which is a Trane 5 ton rooftop package heat pump. The model# and serial# are not available. The voltage for this unit is 208/230 volt three phase. Installation of a new unit will be one of the following: Trane, American Standard, Carrier, or equivalent rooftop package heat pump. It will be a 5 ton 3 phase 208/230 volt package heat pump with 10kw heat strips. This unit is to have hail guards on the condenser coils. If hail guards are not factory installed, they must be furnished and installed by the contractor. The existing disconnect for this unit is to be replaced with a new disconnect. If a single entry kit is not available, an outdoor breaker box may be used in the place of a disconnect. One breaker for the unit and another breaker for the strip heaters will be required. If the unit has a different foot print, a curb adaptor will be required and must be furnished by the contractor. All materials and supplies required to install these units are to be furnished and installed by the contractor. All holes created or uncovered by the replacement of these units must be sealed water tight to prevent roof leaks. The old units and debris from installing and replacement of these units must be cleaned up and disposed of by the contractor. Safety precautions to protect students, staff, and visitors must be taken.
