Chattahoochee River Trail Pedestrian Improvements

Furnishing All Labor, Material, Equipment and Other Things Necessary for the Complete Construction of: chattahoochee River Trail Pedestrian Improvements Project Description: This Project Will Construct a Multi-use Trail Beginning on the Southeast Side of Discovery Boulevard From the North Bank of Nickajack Creek and Extending Along the Riverbank Toward Veterans Memorial Highway. The Project Will Include Both Paved and Unpaved Trail Sections of Varying Widths From 6-feet to 14-feet, Timber Boardwalks, and Landscaping. The Approximate Length of the Project is 1.2 Miles. Project Duration: the Time Allowed for Performance of the Project Will Be 540 Days From Issuance of Notice to Proceed. Contractor Must Meet the Current Bid Requirements of the Georgia Department of Transportation. Contractor and Their Subcontractors Are Required to Be in Compliance With the "Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act." Cobb County Will Affirmatively Comply With Title Vi of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 78 Stat. 252, 42 Usc 2000d-42 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle a, Office of the Secretary, Part 21 Nondiscrimination Act(S). Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (Dbe) Participation and Small Business Participation in All Dot Contracts is Encouraged. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners Reserves the Right to Reject All Bids and Waive Any Formalities.
