Generator Replacement Fire Station 3

Furnish and install an emergency generator (including removal of the existing unit) at Fire Station 3, 2836 Dundas Road, Richmond VA 23237. Work consists of (includes but is not limited to) replacing the current emergency generator and ATS, modifying the existing natural gas distribution piping to suit the new generator’s demand, and incidental work related to the work described. 1. Replacement of emergency power generator and ATS: Includes removing the existing NG-fueled generator and ATS and providing a new NG-fueled emergency generator and ATS upsized to supply full building power. Also includes providing a temporary portable backup generator during the changeover. 2. Modifying the on-site gas distribution piping (for the regulator at the existing gas meter and for the connection at the equipment) to accommodate the new generator. 3. The project includes any other demolition and alteration work related and ancillary to the above, for a complete and useable end-product.
