Curb and Sidewalk A-La-Carte

The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment for the installation and construction of curb, sidewalk, corner reconstruction with wheelchair ramps, and miscellaneous items. Work and material, such as but not limited to the following: reuse of earth and materials, fine grade and compaction, cement concrete trench backfill in front of granite curb, saw cutting and emulsion, and sanding not listed as unit pay items are incidental to the Bid Items. All work must be done in accordance with MassDOT Specifications and these specifications, in close conformity with the lines, grades and cross section details shown on the plans or as established by the Town Engineer. In specified locations, the Town may require curbing, sidewalk, wheelchair ramps, and miscellaneous items to be installed in conjunction with or as separate items listed in this specification. All work shall be conducted in accordance with regulations as specified in the Town of Needham Standards.
