Description | As of July 3, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/10/2023 4:00 PM Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via the "Clarifications" feature in PennBid. The Project consists of the demolition and replacement of an existing culvert and endwall structures, re-routing of existing stormwater pipe, and pavement overlay of Sanatoga Road from Swamp Pike to the Township boundary, approximately 320 feet southwest of the Sanatoga Road and Schaffer Road intersection. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. New Hanover Township, Owner, hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
