Zigmont Road 12-inch Water Main Project

Answers to the questions will be posted to the site by 10:00 AM (CT) on June 15, 2022 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. Electronic bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price. (Or, if providing SAWS with a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price, SAWS will request this within 24 hours from the apparent low bidder. Alignment: 12-inch diameter pipe- Starting at the tie-in location approximately 3,500 fit east of Bonnet Ln at an existing 8-inch waterline. Immediately crossing to the north side of Real Rd and proceeding east. At bend in road follow along west side of Zigmont Rd until approximately 2,200 ft north of Macaway Rd where waterline will cross to east side of Zigmont Rd. Waterline will continue north along east side of Zigmont Rd until reaching the intersection of FM 1346 and Zigmont Rd. Tie into an existing 12-inch waterline. Approximately 11,200 ft ofwaterline to be installed. 2. Verification oftie-in point: Contractor shall verify location and elevation of connection to existing 8-inch and existing 12-inch water line prior to ordering materials.
