Description

Consultant for a wide range of engineering, planning and technical services needed to establish and support the Department’s Transportation System Management and Operations (TSM&O) program within District One. The objective of TSM&O is to maximize the efficiency of transportation systems by focusing on mobility outcomes, such as travel time reliability. TSM&O is a performance-driven approach for solving arterial congestion and traffic problems in which Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS), CAV (Connected Automated Vehicle) systems, signal system control and other management and operational strategies are used to locate and correct the causes of congestion in real-time.
