2022 Gravel Crushing

Proposal is to furnish materials, and to do all work for the project designated in accordance with the proposal requirements, conditions, and specifications. The work under this contract consists of clearing, grubbing, stripping, crushing, stock piling 10,500 ton (7,000 yards) of 3/4 " road gravel, as many tons of 3/4 " road gravel as possible for $47,250.00 and 21,000 ton (14,000 yards) of 1- 1/4 " road gravel in WIDNR-Newcomb pit Boulder Jct. 3/4 " Gravel shall be placed in 2 separate stockpiles, stockpile #1 10,500 ton marked Vilas Hwy, stockpile #2 as many tons of 3/4 " gravel as possible for $47,250.00 marked WIDNR and 1- 1/4 " road gravel shall be placed in one stockpile marked Vilas Hwy. The bidder declares that all of the said work will be performed at his own proper cost and expense, that he will furnish all necessary materials, labor, tools, machinery, apparatus, and other means of construction in the manner provided in the applicable specifications and the approved plans for the work, and the special provisions in the contract of which this proposal will become a part, if and when accepted. The Vilas County Highway Committee reserves the right to reject all bids, or to accept the bid, which is most advantageous to the County. The Vilas County Highway Committee reserves the right to add or delete quantities from the bid to maintain their budget. 1. All gravel shall be stockpiled by May 15, 2023. 2. GRAVEL SPECIFICATIONS per WisDOT Standard & Specifications Section 305 During the term of this Agreement, Bidder shall, at Bidders sole cost, maintain the following insurance: Workers Compensation: a. Coverage A: Limits - Statutory b. Coverage B: Employers Liability Limits c. Bodily Injury by Accident - $100,000 each accident minimum d. Bodily Injury by Disease - $100,000 each employee minimum e. Bodily Injury by Disease - $500,000 policy limit minimum Comprehensive General Liability Limits: $1,000,000 bodily injury and $1,000,000 property damage. Automobile Liability Insurance, with a combined single limit of $1,000,000 for each person and $1,000,000 for each accident.
