Description

The Nelson Street sanitary sewer improvement project will replace approximately 1,340 linear feet of existing sewer with 8" PVC sewer pipe. All sanitary services will also be replaced to the front of the sidewalk. Existing manholes will be replaced. Other work includes building a new roadway with new base course and asphalt pavement. Additional work includes the installation of driveway culverts, asphalt driveway aprons and landscape restoration. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Location: Nelson Street, Village of Sharon, Wisconsin 2. The Work includes: a. Removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk. b. Removal of existing asphalt roadway c. Abandon and remove existing sewer main and appurtenances. d. Installation of new sewer main and all appurtenances and connection to existing mains. e. Installation of new sanitary sewer services. f. Installation of new storm sewer piping and inlets g. Excavation for roadway and driveway aprons and preparation of new aggregate base course for paving. h. Hot mix asphalt pavement for roadway and driveway aprons. i. Landscape restoration with topsoil, seed, fertilizer, and mulch.
