Description | CORRECT DIFICIENCIES OF FOUNDATION AND BASEMENT WALLS OF HISTORIC RANGER CABIN, OREGON CAVES NATIONAL MONUMENT & PRESERVE, JOSEPHINE COUNTY, OR The National Park Service, Oregon Caves National Monument & Preserve has a requirement to correct deficiencies of foundation and basement walls of a 700 square-foot historic ranger cabin. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation. Per FAR 36.204, the project range is estimated to be less than $25,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238110 with a corresponding size standard of $16.5 million of gross annual receipts for the last three years. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price purchase order resulting from this solicitation. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers that are received from concerns that are not small business concerns, shall not be considered. The work of this project consists of replacement of foundation posts which are approximately 100 linear feet of six-inch-by-six-inch posts. New post foundations will need to be replaced, if existing foundations are deficient, or wont carry the load of the new foundation posts. Approximately 100 square feet (SF) of concrete block foundation shall be repaired or replaced. Any jacking, shoring or stabilization of the upper floor shall be the responsibly of the contractor. Approximately 500 SF of wood walls shall be replaced and sealed from exterior conditions. The exterior walls will need the Port Orford Cedar bark siding removed and, salvaged as much as possible. Any new bark siding needing to be replaced shall be harvested & decontaminated prior to re-installation. All construction debris shall be hauled off site following Federal, Local and State regulations. The contractor should verify all measurements in the field prior to start of the project. The work of this contract consists of labor, supervision, equipment, tools, travel, parts, and materials necessary to accomplish the described work at Oregon Caves National Monument & Preserve. All work is to be performed under a single contract.
