Description | Lincoln Electric System is requesting bids for all materials, labor, equipment, and permits needed for the repair of the RICE 2 system ammonia piping as per LES Specifications included with this bid. Successful bidder will be required to complete (1) the LES Standard Services Contract; (2) furnish proof of insurance with coverage specified in the Contract by an insurance company licensed to do business in Nebraska and rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating. Certificate must show LES listed as additional insured for general liability and include waiver of subrogation; (3) furnish a performance and labor and material payment bond from a surety licensed to do business in Nebraska and also rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating, and (4) complete the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form Clarification Deadline: 11/29/2022 4:00 PM LES Procurement Department; procurementdept@les.com; All questions must be submitted through this bid portal under the clarifications tab. Rokeby Generation Station is located at 8000 SW 12th Street, Lincoln, NE, 68523. The scope of this work is for all materials, labor, equipment, and permits needed for the repair of the RICE 2 system ammonia piping including piping material, welding, post weld heat treatment, surface preparation and insulation. All work is to be completed by April 14, 2023. This is a LES project budgeted for FY 2023, any payment requests will not be processed until after Jan 1 of 2023. LES may, in its sole discretion, reject any or all bids, or waive minor defects, irregularities, or informalities therein. LES will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid best complies with the Contract Documents. At the option of LES, in order to demonstrate its qualifications to perform the work described herein, each bidder shall be prepared to submit, within five days after the bids are opened, a detailed written showing of financial responsibility, relevant similar experience, present commitments, and such other relevant information as may be required by LES. |
