Magnolia Grange Plaster Repairs

Plaster ceiling and molding to be repaired. All debris to be hauled away. Area to be site protected to prevent damages. Dust will be held to a minimal. Setup protection on steps, floors and seal off area where work will take place. County will work with contractor to remove furniture. Walls will have plaster washers installed to tighten loose areas Ceiling will receive new metal lath over existing plaster or re-fasten the whole ceiling using wood screws and plaster washers and sheets of fiberglass mesh. Ceiling to be replaster w/ authentic plaster. Walls to be repaired using plaster - walls to be primed and skimmed. Molding at ceiling to be recast and installed to match exactly what is onsite (remove plaster crown trim in hall/stairway to restore the ceiling and adding back new molding cast from the original). Look 1st floor for missing medallions. When complete the area will be cleaned & County returned furniture to the space. Portion upstairs’ containing carpeted bedroom, small bedroom, bathroom and hallway, will either be removed by county or covered by contractor. Contractor will strip wallpaper from walls where necessary. Stripping of top wallpaper boarder in 1 room upstairs. Painting will be done by county.
