Description | Project Duration 1-Year Online Q&A No In general, the work consists of furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for a Job Order Contract (JOC), for general construction work as described in the bid documents to be used by campuses within the CSU. See "JOC Document Index" in the bid documents for the list of required documents to be submitted electronically with the eBid Proposal documents, and hard copy version of documents which are to be delivered within 24 hours of bid closing. Below is more information regarding this specific bid and participating campus(es):Receiving Bids For:Contractors will submit bid factors for warm-air heating, ventilating and air-conditioning work, asfollows:1)for work on campuses in the Northern California region2)for work on campuses in the Southern California region. Failure to submit a bid for one region of work will not disqualify the bidder from doing work in the other region. The Trustees require the successful bidder to achieve three percent (3%) Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation in contracting construction projects as established in the bidding documents, and this must occur prior to the bid opening. Bidders shall contact the Trustees' DVBE Program Advocate Mr. Thomas J. Johnson at tjohnson@calstate.edu. This contract is comprised of public works projects which are subject to prevailing wage rate laws (see Contract General Conditions, Article 04.02). All contractors and all tiers of subcontractors bidding on this project shall register to bid public works projects with the Department of Industrial Relations, and maintain current this registration pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5.
