Description

As of June 16, 2023, only one bid received. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. As of April 6, 2023, no bids received for this project. No definite date for the rebid. Division I: Concrete Beam Repair Division II: Drainage Pipe Rehabilitation The Project includes the following Work: Removal and replacement of approximately 100 LF of tank farm containment wall, leveling of existing tank farm foundation, rehabilitation of approximately 45 linear feet of 21-inch VCP and 162 linear feet of 18- inch RCP, rehabilitation of three (3) existing manholes, bypass pumping, repair of three (3) concrete beams in pipe gallery, flash mix foundation repair and electrical breaker replacement. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and clearly marked Water Plant Improvements - 2022 on the outside for easy identification by the Owner and the Engineer Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Each bid must be accompanied by a 5% bid security in the proper form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of each successful bidder. In accordance with Section 40-11-100 of the SC Code, bids will be accepted only from properly licensed contractors for all general contracts costing $30,000 or more and all mechanical contracts costing $17,500 or more. This project is being funded by the State Revolving Fund (SRF). All bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents-including Davis-Bacon and "American Iron and Steel" provisions. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the actual bid opening date. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding and to reject all Bids if it is in the Owner's best interest to do so.
