Demolition Building 53

The project is to demolish building 53 which is approximately 1537 ft2 in size. The existing concrete pad under building 53 will be left intact and free of protrusions. Contractor shall inspect site and buildings to complete an assessment for demolition before the demolition starts. Contractor shall determine where debris will be disposed of and what containers and methods will be used for demolition debris. Contractor shall decide what kind of specialized equipment shall be used to remove any hazardous waste. All utilities will be disconnected and safely removed. Contractor is responsible for capping any existing gas and water lines that may be present in the building at boundary of the remaining slab. Landscape surrounding the slab will be rendered free of all small debris, nails, screws, etc. that results from the demolition effort.
