Description | Site Directions: Park areas between and along SW Des Moines Street south of SW Magazine Road in Prairie Trail, Ankeny, Iowa. A copy of said plans, specifications, and form of contract, and estimated total cost is now on file at the Ankeny Public Services Building and may be examined at 1210 NW Prairie Ridge Drive, Ankeny, Iowa, 50023. An electronic copy of the Contract Documents is available his fee is refundable, provided the following conditions are met: (1) The Contract Documents are returned complete and in a reusable condition, and (2) they are returned within fourteen (14) calendar days after the award of the project. Other associated improvements include traffic control, traffic signs, surface restoration, and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project. The Contractor shall substantially complete the project no later than July 22, 2022. Substantially complete shall be defined as all utility, grading, and pavement construction completed, with the new parking area, driveway, and sidewalks fully open to traffic. Should the Contractor fail to substantially complete the work within this timeframe, liquidated damages of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per calendar day will be assessed for work not substantially completed within the designated Contract term(s). Fully complete shall be defined as all work completed including landscaping and seeding, and all improvements ready for final acceptance. Should the Contractor fail to fully complete the work within this timeframe, liquidated damages of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) per calendar day will be assessed for work not fully completed within the designated Contract term(s). |
