| Description | Scope item 1: Demolition of existing site conditions for the improvements in conflict with the proposed parking/bus drop-off, fire lanes, library/media center relocation, new competition gym, new cafeteria, kitchen and proposed main entry and secondary entry at the alumni plaza, relocation of the batting cage, and the modification to the existing service entrance drive. Scope item 2: The school campus will consist of new additions to include a new secure entrance, administration addition, special ed classrooms, and CTE addition all housed within 3-stories, new kitchen/cafeteria addition, new competition gymnasium to seat 800, new library/media center, new CTE food lab with an outdoor dining area and a band hall addition to be constructed within a tornado shelter to house the entire school campus. Scope Item 3: The school campus will consist of site improvements to include a new pedestrian bridge to adjoin the new 3-story addition, segmental retaining walls, bus drop-off, add a fire lane, sidewalks, storm sewer, sanitary sewer work, outdoor learning plaza, landscaping/irrigation, and the replacement of selective trees and shrubs that are dead. Scope item 4. The existing school campus will also under go renovations to 26 classrooms and the ROTC program located in the 3-story bar building, renovations to 3 programs in the fine arts department, renovations to both the large gym and small auxiliary gym, renovation of the corridors/stairwells in the 3-story bar building, and modifications to the existing construction to accommodate the new additions tie-in. Scope item 5. The existing school campus will also under go site and building improvements to consist of its exterior spandrel glass system with selective replacement of spandrel glass panes, selective roof replacement, add additional fire protection to include a fire hydrant, upgrade the remaining building fire alarm system to integrate with the new system, and improve the entry to the bridge landing at the Creek to remove the change in elevation at the expansion joint. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
