Description

As of December 28, 2022, this project is in construction and is expected to complete Fall 2024. The Tippecanoe School Corporation will receive sealed Bids for the following Project: NEW KLONDIKE MIDDLE SCHOOL TIPPECANOE SCHOOL CORPORATION LAFAYETTE, INDIANA Bids will be received in the Tippecanoe School Corporation Administration Offices at 21 Elston Road, Lafayette, Indiana 47909, until 2:00 P.M. (Local Time) on Tuesday, the 19th day of April, 2022. Immediately after closing time for receipt of Bids, they will be opened and read aloud in the conference room located in the Administration Building. Bids may be mailed or delivered in person to the office ofMs. Amanda M. Brackett, ChiefFinancial Officer, 21 Elston Road, Lafayette, Indiana 47909, prior to 2:00 P.M. (Local Time) on the date of the Bid Opening. Bids received after the designated time for closing shall be returned unopened. Bids may be withdrawn prior to such time, but no Bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days thereafter. Bid shall be for Complete Construction only on a lump sum basis for all classes of work required by the Contract Documents. Bids shall be properly executed, addressed to the Tippecanoe School Corporation, Lafayette, Indiana, and submitted on Form 96 (Revised 2013), as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts, giving financial data as recent as possible and in no event more than 90 days old. Each Bid shall be accompanied by an executed Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Security and such other documents required by the Instructions to Bidders. A Bid Security in the form of AIA Document A310 (Bid Bond), or a certified check, or an Indiana General Revised Form No. 86, "Contractor's Combination Bid Bond and Bond for Construction", shall accompany each Bid. The Bid Security shall be in the penal amount of 10 percent of the total Bid and made payable to the Tippecanoe School Cor to the Tippecanoe School Corporation. Bid Security shall be forfeited if Bid is withdrawn after closing time on date for receiving bids. Contractor awarded work will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond from an acceptable surety in an amount equal to 100 percent of the full contract sum. The Instructions to Bidders contained in the Project Manual and Specifications for the Project are by this reference made a part hereof, and all Bidders shall be deemed advised of the provisions thereof and of the General Conditions, Specifications, and Drawings for the Project.
