Construct Aviation Technology Park Entrance Road

This project is to furnish all labor and materials to construct a new 840 entrance road for the Aviation Technology Park at the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport. The Construct Aviation Technology Park Entrance Road project includes earthwork, drainage structure installation, minor utility work, stone, paving and marking. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. The Contractor shall procure all permits and licenses, pay all charges, fees, and taxes, and give all notices necessary and incidental to the due and lawful execution of the work. Question Deadline 12/08/2023 Questions shall be submitted no later than noon five (5) business/working days before bid opening if given in full text. The FLSA sets minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping, and child labor standards for full and part-time workers. Failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract and furnish an acceptable surety bond or bonds within the period specified in paragraph 30-06, Execution of Contract, of this section shall be just cause for cancellation of the award and forfeiture of the proposal guaranty, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages to the Owner The Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Commission, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. The successful bidder must comply with requirements set out in the contract documents including all Federally Required Contract Provisions including but not limited to the Buy American Preference, Foreign Trade Restrictions, Davis Bacon Requirements, Affirmative Action Requirements, Government wide Debarment and Suspension, Government wide Requirements for a Drug-free Workplace, and NonSegregated Facilities Requirements.
