Description | This project will generally include all construction, labor, materials, testing, services, administration, and associated activities required in conjunction with or properly incidental necessary for the following: o Architectural modernization of approximately 3,000 square feet of pump station office space including improvements to the interior and exterior of the building. Interior work includes selective demolition, new and rework of existing floors, walls, ceilings, finishes, plumbing, doors & frames, and appliances. Exterior work includes selective demolition, new aluminum store front doors, new wall infill and existing brick restoration and sealing. o Rework in the pump and valve room at various levels including one new 2MG pump; new motor control centers; new piping, fittings, and valves; new staircase to lower levels, standby generator, and load bank. o Site work includes new ornamental fencing, selective parking lot replacement and extension of 5-foot retaining wall. o Work consists of providing labor, materials, equipment, services, and administration required in Conjunction with or properly incidental to Project construction Project is known as the "Don Cline Pump Station Modernization Rehabilitation" located at 2150 Old Denton Road, Carrollton, Texas, for the CITY. Construction services for this project will be selected through competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Chapter 2269, Subchapter D of the Texas Government Code. The City will evaluate and rank the contractor based on the following selection criteria: 50% proposed price; and 50% contractor qualifications. The City shall select the contractor that offers the best value as determined by the selection criteria and ranking evaluation. The estimated total budget for this project is $7,200,000. |
