Description

Village of Round Lake Beach will accept sealed proposals for providing all labor, equipment, vehicles, materials, and related services necessary for the collection of municipal waste, recyclables, and organic material (landscape waste and food scraps) at certain commercial, industrial, multi-family (more than four (4) units), and institutional properties located within the corporate boundaries of the Village of Round Lake Beach. The proposed initial term of the Franchise Agreement will begin on May 1, 2023, and end on April 30, 2030. After August 1, 2024, or as soon thereafter as is permissible by law, the Contractor shall be the sole and exclusive franchisee of the Village to provide Commercial Services to Customers under the Franchise Agreement. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted to shilts@roundlakebeachil.gov by 3:00 p.m., February 28, 2023, via email to shilts@roundlakebeachil.gov. The Village Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or any part thereof; waive any minor defects, irregularities, or informalities; not award any agreement; or award an agreement deemed to be in the best interests of the Village of Round Lake Beach.
