Landfill Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Services

The scope of work (Work) consists of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the annual HHW/E-Waste Collection Event held at the McKenzie County Road Department Shop located at 1300 12ST SE, Watford City, ND. It is proposed that this event occur in the summer. It is understood (and accepted) that it is likely that proposers may only bid on one portion of this work (i.e., HHW only or E-Waste only). The Selected Contractor(s) shall be solely responsible for proper disposal of all materials collected in a manner consistent with all local, state, and federal laws. Any questions related to this RFP will be submitted by e-mail whenever possible. Phone calls will be accepted but e-mails should be used whenever applicable. Collect calls will not be accepted. The County intends to enter into a one (1) year contract with the Selected Contractor(s). The County and the Selected Contractor(s) may agree to renew annually the terms of the contract for four (4) additional years for a potential total period of five (5) years (2023 through 2027). Any information included in the RFP submittal becomes the property of McKenzie County. McKenzie County reserves the right to share this information with any one person, firm or group.
