This Sources Sought is for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Architect and Engineering (A-E) Services – Open End, Multi-Discipline, Eglin AFB, FL. The design work is located in Okaloosa, Walton, Santa Rosa, and Gulf Counties, FL. Projects are all located within the confines of Eglin Air Force Base Reservation and outlying test sites. The A-E will perform Title I, Title II, and other A-E services, on an as required, task order basis to include feasibility studies, site investigations/studies (topographical, geotechnical, utility, system, charrettes, and other studies), conceptual designs, budget estimates, CADD produced design of alterations, maintenance, repair, and construction projects, construction management and inspection. The criteria, which will be the basis for selection, are listed below in descending order of importance: Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services (each discipline must be licensed to practice in Florida under Florida State Law requirements – provide license numbers); Specialized experience and technical competence in Department of Defense work, with an emphasis on facilities maintenance; Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; Past Performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; Location in the general geographic area of Eglin AFB, FL and knowledge of the locality of the project. CAD capability and compatibility with AutoCAD (2019, or latest version) and capability to digitize existing drawings for CAD use. Availability of all A/E disciplines in house. Demonstrated success in energy conservation, pollution, waste reduction, and use of recovered materials.
