Description

Contractor will be providing crushed stone to various departments of Metro. All deliveries will be inside Nashville Davidson County to various Metro Departments and agencies as needed. All specifications are FOB destination, freight prepaid. It is the seller's responsibility to meet the specified delivery date and arrange receipt of the goods with Metro personnel. No other charges such as shipping or delivery charges are acceptable. All fees (Environmental, delivery, etc.) shall be included in the unit price for concrete. Contractor is required to supply Metro with a quality product throughout the length of the contract. The result of delivering a poor quality product would result in cancellation of your contract. Material is subject to be tested at any time for quality. Stone furnished to Metro is to be in conformance with the latest edition of Section 903 Aggregates of the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) - Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. All stone must conform to section M-111.01. Contractor must be able to provide material within at least 24 hours of the department placing the order. Contractor will be required to deliver material to the job site within one (1) hour of designated time of delivery, based on a 24 hour notice. Contractor must be able to provide ordered material at a destination that has a one (1) hour round trip drive time for Metro. Metro does not guarantee any minimum or maximum quantity to be purchased over the life of the contract.
