Description

Work consists of constructing a new onsite wastewater disposal system to serve the visitor’s center, restrooms, and concessions building at the Blue Heron Mine 18 National Park. The project will remove approximately 750 cubic yards of the shale material and 44 inches of unstable soil and replace it with high quality sandy lateral field soil. The project will install an addition 10 feet of sand material on either side of the lateral fields, new piping, pumping station, holding tanks, and site restoration.
