Description

The Commissioners will accept individual bids on each project oron the entire project. Location 1 S. Court Street: Courthouse C1-Cornice sheet metal repair and painting including spotre-soldering of any cracked or open joints in the copper gutter onSouth & West elevations and North and East elevations. Check gutter drains in walls. C2-Remove Lady Justice, paint and repair pedestal, repair her andpaint gold paint and re-install. C3- Clock Tower- Need scaffolding, replace broken slate tiles,sheet metal repairs, EPDM flat areas , and paint entire tower, repaircopper peak. Location 15 S. Court Street: Annex A1- Work Scope: Repair and Paint Wood Entrance *Remove and replacement all broken, cracked or missing wood components on wood entrance. *All new wood with resemble original wood components in width and profile as closely as possible. *Carpentry shall be completed by experienced personnel only. *Pressure clean area with hot water only. *Scrape any loose paint after cleaning. *Spot prime all bare wood. *Paint entire wood area with a three (3) color scheme. No paintingwill commence until Owner has chosen paint colors. *Wash windows after painting. Clean up all areas and leave in professional manner. A2-Work Scope: 100% Tuckpointing, Hot Water Cleaning, andWater Repellent Treatment and Caulking *100% remove all mortar joints throughout sandstone (includes alleyebrows, columns and entrances) in preparation for tuckpointingoperations, mortar removal shall be 5/8 minimum, or enough toexpose sound tin weathered mortar. *Tuckpointing all removed mortar joints with new mortar formulated to match color, texture, and relative hardness of adjacent mortar.Tuckpointing shall match adjacent mortar joint tooling and shallproduce a watertight mortar joint with firm cohesion to the substrate. * Tuckpointing shall be completed by experienced personnel only. * Re-Set brick above lintel Bricks to be set straight and plumb. * Pressure clean area with hot water only. * Cut and caulk above all lintels. * Scrape and paint all lintels with rust inhibiting paint. * Apply Siloxane Pl) water repellent by Prosoco to all designated areas. Wash all windows. * Clean up all areas and leave in professional manner. Location 13183 OH 13 Chauncey DJFS - Original Barn D1-Work Scope: Repair and Paint Wood on all four elevations *Remove and replacement all broken, cracked or missing woodcomponents on cornice, windows or doors. * New gutters and down spouts. *All new wood with resemble original wood components in widthand profile as closely as possible. *Carpentry shall be completed by experienced personnel only. *Pressure clean area with hot water only. *Scrape any loose paint after cleaning. *Spot prime all bare wood. *Paint entire wood areas with two coats.. No painting will commence until Owner has chosen paint colors. *Install new metal flashing above both garage doors *Clean up all areas and leave in professional manner. D2- Work Scope: Spot Tuckpointing, Hot Water Cleaning, andWater Repellent Treatment - Original Barn *Spot remove all mortar joints throughout sandstone (includes alleyebrows, columns and entrances) in preparation for tuckpointingoperations. Mortar removal shall be 5/8 minimum or enough toexpose sound unweathered mortar. *Tuckpoint all removed mortar joints with new mortar formulatedto match color, texture, and relative hardness of adjacent mortar.Tuckpointing shall match adjacent mortar joint tooling and shallproduce a watertight mortar joint with firm cohesion to the substrate. *Tuckpointing shall be completed by experienced personnel only. *Pressure clean all four elevations from grade to wood cornice withhot water only. Apply Siloxane PD water repellent by Prosoco to all exterior abovegrade brick surfaces of all designated areas. *Clean up all areas and leave in a professional manner.
