Work includes replacement of kitchen countertops, sinks, faucets, wall covering, an all associated work items, etc. as shown on the drawings. The ELKINS HOUSING AUTHORITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. A certified check or bank draft, payable to ELKINS HOUSING AUTHORITY Par Value U. S. Government bonds or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Bid bond shall be countersigned by a West Virginia agent. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the ELKINS HOUSING AUTHORITY. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds or furnish other surety acceptable to ELKINS HOUSING AUTHORITY.
