2021 SACWSD Water System Removal and Replacements

The project generally consists of replacing existing 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch water lines with new 8-inch water mains and replacing existing water service lines with new services lines and appurtenances, with service line sizes ranging from new -inch up to 2-inches, for the South Adams County Water and Sanitation District in Commerce City, Colorado. The project is comprised of a Base Bid and a bid alternate. The Base Bid is located on several different streets in the same general area, generally bounded by E. 74th Avenue and E. 73rd Avenue as the northern boundaries, E. 72nd Avenue to the south, Quebec Street to the east, and Highway 2 to the west. This project consists of installing approximately 10,100 linear feet of 8-inch water line, replacing and transferring a total of 164 water service lines, installing new fire hydrants, and associated asphalt and concrete removal and replacement. Alternate No. 1 consists of installing 9 sampling stations at various locations north of 96th Avenue throughout the District.
