Kingery West Street Program

Consists of improvements to the Kingery West neighborhood streets as shown in the plans. The street program generally consists of hot-mix asphalt removal, underlying aggregate bases modified/repaired/ reshaping, and a replaced roadway section with 4-inches of new hot-mix surface/binder courses. The only roadway exception is for the concrete frontage roadway which is being addressed as a design overlay extension that includes a 1-inch surface milling and an overlay roadway section with 2.5 inches of hot-mix surface/leveling courses. In addition to the general work described above, the street program also includes removal and disposal of unsuitable material, aggregate subgrade improvement, pavement patching, curb and gutter removal and replacement, drainage/utility structure frame adjustments, driveway apron and sidewalk replacement, and the restoration along the affected portions of work limits, as directed.
