2022 MFT Roadway Improvements

The revised scope of work for which bids are requested includes the following: Work includes approximately 47,300 square yards of various bituminous surface treatments (A-1 & A-2, & fog seal) throughout town; and striping in the downtown. The work under this contract is scheduled to commence in late July with project completion scheduled for September 30, 2022. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
