| Description | Scope: Remove and dispose of any existing ridge vent flashing and ridge vent closures. Install new perforated zee closures with insect screen to lock onto new ridge cap flashing, fasten as required. Install new ridge vent flashing. Fasten to closures as required. Use butyl tape where metal to metal sealing occurs. Replace all fasteners. Tighten fasteners enough for rubber washer to seal but not overtighten and break the washer or to bend roofing metal that could cause premature leaking. Use liquid applied silicone roof coating (Aldo) around all exhaust fans and the perimeter of each curb. Clean up and haul away any debris. Include any warranty. Proposals shall include material and labor costs, warranty costs, or other such costs incidental to the miscellaneous roof repairs. |
