RFP - Sustainability Plan

Request Category Code: 918-90 Strategic Tech Plan/Cons Serv, Environmental Services, Implementation Plan Description: This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in completing a Sustainability Plan for the City of Fitchburg, comprised of the following: 1. A guiding vision, measurable objectives, and targeted strategies (plan of action) intended to help the City practically implement ideas for operating more efficiently and sustainably. 2. A comprehensive reading of the vision, objectives, and strategies outlined above, covering the priority areas of energy/water usage, greenhouse gas emissions reductions, and waste streams for the municipality, with consideration also given to further areas of impact (see RFP section 1.2.c(3)); and suggest methods for including broader community sustainability opportunities as well. Proposals shall consist of four elements, detailed further in the RFP document: 1) cover letter; 2) firm(s) general description; 3) firm(s) general experience, approach, and personnel; 4) budget/cost. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
