On-call Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Contract

The Albemarle County Service Authority (ACSA) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to enter into an "on-call" contract to rehabilitate existing sewer mains, manholes, and service laterals. The Contract will primarily be used to repair sewer system defects that are allowing rainwater and groundwater to enter the sewer system via inflow and infiltration and/or used to repair structural defects that are causing maintenance issues. This contract may include repair of sewer system defects and all preparatory work. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash escrow in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. Bidders must be Class A licensed contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with requirements of Title 54.1, Chapter 11, of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended. The procedure for withdrawal of bids shall be according to Virginia Code Section 2.2-4330. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Executive Orders concerning nondiscrimination in employment and maintaining a drug free work place.
