Scanlon Hall Renovation for Swing Space

Parenzo Hall Renovation project is underway at Westfield State University, and the campus is in need of both permanent space to relocate some student support services, as well as temporary swing space for the duration of the project. Scanlon Hall has been identified as an appropriate location for both permanent and temporary space, given its central location adjacent to Parenzo and the academic buildings. Based on current and projected residence hall occupancy, the entire building can be repurposed for non-residential use without displacing any students who desire to live on campus. The goal of this project is to design and construct permanent and temporary swing space to support the Parenzo Hall renovation project, the majority of which will be relocated in Scanlon Hall. A limited number of other functions may need to be configured elsewhere, the design and construction of which will be included.

Division 06 -	Wood, Plastics, and Composites, Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry.
Division 07 -	Thermal and Moisture Protection, Dampproofing and Waterproofing, Thermal Protection.
Division 08 -	Openings, Doors and Frames, Windows.
Division 09 -	Finishes, Plaster and Gypsum Board, Ceilings, Flooring, Painting and Coating.
Division 21 -	Fire Suppression.
Division 22 -	Plumbing.
Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Instrumentation and Control for HVAC, HVAC Air Distribution.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Lighting.
