C-470 Noise Wall West of Lucent The work consists of multiple smaller pieces of work that have been removed from the ongoing C-470 Design Build Project. The contractor for this project will be required to not interfere or cause any delays to Flatiron Construction or any of their subcontractors. C-470 Noise Walls: About 2,600' of noise walls along the Lucent westbound on-ramp to C-470. There are three different styles of wall including 660' of "Rail Slab" which will require the existing C-470 shoulder to be removed and rebuilt with the new noise wall. A 24/7 closure of the auxiliary lane between the WB Lucent on-ramp and WB Santa Fe off-ramp will be needed. About 1,400' of the wall can be built off the roadway and no C-470 closures will be needed. C-470 Trail Replacement: About 3,500' long and 8' wide asphalt trail will be replaced with a concrete trail. The depth removed and replaced will be 6".
