RFP - Water Utility Master Plan and Rates Study

The City of Fairfield (City) is seeking qualified and experienced engineering consulting firms to submit proposals for development of a water master plan (WMP) for the City's water utility, Fairfield Municipal Utility (FMU) along with completion of a comprehensive cost-of service analysis. The WMP is intended to be used to inform a recommendation of a new water rate schedule over the next several years, beginning in January 2024. A pre-proposal meeting will not be conducted for this RFP. All written requests for RFP clarifications must be received no later August 26, 2022. Answers to questions released September 13, 2022 Questions regarding any part of the RFP must be submitted in writing via e-mail and addressed as follows: To: ffwmp2022@fairfield.ca.gov (Water Master Plan and Rates Study RFP) Subj: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL INQUIRY | Water Utility Master Plan and Rates Study The evaluation committee will forward its recommendation for the contract award along with 3-signed contracts to the Fairfield City Council. After review and consideration of this recommendation, the City Council has the discretion to: 1) award the contract based upon the staff recommendation, or 2) reject all proposals.
