Description | Cost Estimate: $150,000 A Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check naming as oblige the Western Clinton County Municipal Authority and in the amount of (five) 5% of the total Bid price must be submitted with the Bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds; each Bond for 100% of the total Bid price. The project is funded, in part, by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. No less than minimum wages as required by the Davis-Bacon Act must be paid to all employees on the project. The Bidder must strive to meet minimum goals for minority and female participation in the aggregate on-site construction work force. These goals are 5% and 3% for Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses Enterprises, respectively. Bidders must document its efforts to solicit MBE/WBE and Section 3 participation on Form STD 286 which is provided in the Bidding Documents. Minority-owned Enterprises and Woman-owned Enterprises are encouraged to submit Bids. Refer to Section 00900 - "General Conditions Part II - Federal Requirements" of the Bidding Documents. Documentation of solicitations must be submitted with the Bid. No Bids may be withdrawn, except when the Bidder meets statutory requirements for Bid withdrawal. The Western Clinton County Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any Bid informality and to award the contract as may be deemed by the Authority to be in their best interest. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening and up to 120 days for project grant funding approval.
