Description | As of 7/29/2022 no award has been made. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Replacement of an existing 8" cast iron waterline installed in 1956 located along 3300 South from 1100 West to State. This project will be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 is located along 3300 South from 1100 West to 500 West. In Phase 1 approximately 780 linear feet of 8- inch PVC and 4,250 linear feet of 12- inch PVC waterlines will be installed using open cut method. This includes connection of service lines and the installation and replacement of fire hydrants and miscellaneous surface improvement appurtenant to the pipeline work. As part of this project approximately 1,600 linear feet of abandoned 16" waterline between I-15 and West Temple will be cut and video/camera surveyed in preparation for Phase 2. Construction of Phase 2, with the installation of a new waterline along 3300 South from approximately 500 West to State Street, will be administered under a separate contract. The Owner reserves the right t o reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner. |
