Original Set Aside: Local Area Set-Aside (FAR 26.2) The Contractor shall provide daily and weekly janitorial services in accordance with the specifications and best commercial practices in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present clean, neat, and professional appearance. Services are to take the place of in-house janitorial for the duration of FEMA operations. This is due to FEMA generating a demand larger than organic services can maintain. 1. Daily Services a. Empty trash receptacles sweep entrances and corridors, spot sweep floors, and spot vacuum carpets. b. Clean drinking fountains. c. Sweep and damp mop or scrub restrooms. d. Clean all restroom fixtures and replenish supplies. e. Dispose of all trash and garbage generated in or about the building. f. Spray buff resilient floors. g. Remove carpet stains. h. Clean glass entry doors to the space. 2. Weekly Services a. Damp mop and spray buff all resilient floors in kitchen area and restrooms. b. Vacuum all carpets. 3. The Contractor shall wear disposable gloves (e.g., latex, nitrile, etc..), and any other personal protective equipment (PPE) as recommended by the cleaning and disinfectant product manufacturer. 4. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, and supervision, equipment and supplies to complete required services. 5. All Contractor personnel shall follow all safety regulations and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) requirements.
