Electric Vehicle Charging Station Installation

Questions Due Date: Jul 12th 2022, 12:00 PM CDT UTD is seeking a supplier to install more than 10 dual Level 2 Smart EV charging stations at several locations on campus. Project will include installation of more than 10 dual Level 2 Smart EV charging stations at several locations on campus. Final locations to be determined. Project Goals: 1.Increase the number of EV charging stations on campus. 2.Expand the locations for EV charging on campus. 3.Improve/upgrade the features on EV charging stations on campus via newer equipment. 4.UTD reserves the right to self-install The supplier needs to: The HUB subcontracting goal is 26.0%. 1.Provide dual-charging Level 2 or higher EV stations, including shipping costs. 2.Perform installation of stations and connection to power. 3.Arrange for any required installation, mounting, signage, or electrical work needed for install. 4.Activate stations and provide network support and customer service capabilities for EV station use. 5.Provide any applicable training and admin access to device configuration to P&T and FM staff on software/customer service use, including but not limited to Point of Sale service, mobile app, and reporting etc 6.Provide energy metering/usage for chargers and reporting capability for EV chargers Vendor must have dedicated account rep for UTD during install and must provide customer support to professional staff that oversee charger infrastructure and to UTD community that utilize the chargers via their team after installation is completed. Any discussion of the RFP with a department staff member can result in Bidder disqualification. All questions regarding the RFP should be directed to Bonfire or the Buyer only.
