Noss Industrial Park Site Environmental Restoration

Project consists of excavation and disposal of the upper one-foot of soil in an approximate 1.1-acre area, and excavation and disposal of the upper two inches of soil in an approximate 0.1-acre area, both located on the southwest portion of the Site. The estimated volume of soil to be removed is 1,850 cubic yards. The extent of the area is shown on Figure 3 and Figure 4. All soil within the defined footprints indicated herein to be excavated and disposed shall be considered contaminated non-hazardous soil. The area will be backfilled with NYSDEC DER-10 “clean” material to accommodate a one-foot cover that is suitable to support vegetation native to the area.
