For Merrill/Cazier Library Bike Shelter The last day and time for questions will be Monday, March 6, 2023 at 3 pm. Please email all questions before then to jim.huppi@usu.edu . (Phone call questions are not acceptable). Final answers and/or addendums to the bid will be emailed Monday, March 7, 2023 by 4 pm to all bidders. The project will be awarded based upon the lowest accepted bid. USU reserves the right to reject all bids. A project schedule shall be submitted with each bid outlining start, end and milestone dates. The work will begin as soon as contracts have been signed and a 'Notice to Proceed' has been issued, and be completed by Thursday, August 3, 2023. Work shall begin no later than May 8, 2023 and shall be completed no later than August 3, 2023. There is no on-site staging area. The successful contractor will need to remove materials daily and deliver project materials daily Bid security, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, must be submitted as stated in the Instruction to Bidders if the bid is over $50,000.00. USU Facilities Planning, Design and Construction reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner. The Contractor shall comply with and require all of its Subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah.
