| Description | Consists of the rehabilitation of approximately 3850 linear feet of underground 54-Inch PCCP force main and 206 linear feet of 54" PCCP Force Main aerial crossing. The work shall include the preparation of the engineered design. The Performance Criteria Package consists of technical and non-technical criteria. Phase 1 consists of approximately 3850 linear feet of underground PCCP 54" force main that commences at the intersection of West Flagler Street and SW 78th Place proceeding east along Flagler Street to the location of Pump Station 187 just prior to the canal crossing west of NW 72nd Avenue. Phase 2 Part 1 consists of performing an evaluation of the 54-inch canal crossing upon deactivation of the force main. The Contractor shall clean the main and access the pipe to perform an evaluation of the condition of the 54-inch aerial crossing. Heavy cleaning may be required to obtain an accurate evaluation of the force main. The Contractor shall submit a report to the Department detailing the condition of the aerial crossing and the recommended rehabilitation method. Phase 2 Part 2: Perform the rehabilitation of approximately 220 LF of 54-inch PCCP aerial canal crossing if ordered by the Engineer. | ||
