Description

Replacing doors and upgrading, replacing and reconnecting the Physical Access Control System (PACS) for buildings and connecting corridors throughout the VHA Bedford VAMC campus. Additionally, provide a complete and integrated security solution that provides a lockdown capability and addresses the fundamental security/infrastructure needs at the Veterans Affairs’ Medical Center (VAMC), 200 Springs Road Bedford, MA. Currently buildings throughout the Bedford campus have doors, frames, and existing PACS in poor condition, some of which are beyond repair. These items have far exceeded their useful life expectancies. This project will replace damaged doors, frames and PACS deemed unsalvageable on the exterior of the buildings and at interior locations identified as high security locations.
