Description

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Okanogan County. The County of Okanogan in accordance with section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of its programs and activities. This is a Federally Funded project that provides for the improvement of installing/upgrading guardrail at key locations within the county to protect over embankment hazard. Work will include bank stabilization and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
