Phase II Infrastructure Construction for the Harry Reid Research and Technology Park

The Project Site is located within the UNLV Harry Reid Research and Technology Park (Park) located at Sunset and Durango. Construction Work includes approximately 1,310 linear feet (LF) of Jim Rogers Way which will be widened to four lanes. Curbs, gutters, and sidewalks on both sides of the roadway will be installed, along with street lighting, landscaping with benches, and additional storm drainage. Utilities to be relocated include 150 LF of the current water line and 450 LF of electrical conduit. Approximately 3,000 LF of Post Road will be improved, including paving a four-lane roadway with curb and gutter, sidewalks, and landscaping. Utilities to be installed include approximately 1,350 LF of dry utilities, 1,000 LF of sewer pipes, 925 LF of water lines, and 924 LF of storm drains. Approximately 850 LF of Teco Road will be improved, including paving, curb and gutter, and sidewalks. Approximately 460 LF of Durango Road will be improved to add a right turn lane at the new intersection with Post Road, including paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks and relocation of a NV Energy switch (work to include trenching and conduit, NV Energy will relocate switch).
