Description | Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement, on behalf of Facilities Management invites your company to bid on project ADC Re-roof Pod D located at 3415 S 900 West South Salt Lake UT 84119 per the attached specifications. The Jail Tour Application (see attachment #1) is needed from all attendees to attend the pre-bid conference. The Jail Tour Application must be completed, and emailed with a copy of the Driver's License to: Cphansen@slco.org and mmorley@slco.org 48 hours prior to the conference, and approved before entering into the jail. Upon award the Contractor's employees who will be working onsite must also be approved. Bond Range $2,500,000 to $3,000,000 The Question due date has been moved to January 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm. 1. Roof Areas F10.3 & F10.4: The removal the existing single-ply (EPDM) membrane roofing system and the installation of a new mechanically fastened single-ply (TPO) membrane roofing system using Induction fastening system as indicated in the scope of work area. 2. All roof areas to include new flashing systems, metal edge flashing systems, removal and reinstallation of existing metal parapet cap flashing systems where indicated, new downspouts at existing through wall scuppers where indicated, new fall protection roof anchors and perimeter safety strip and custom safety guardrail systems at serviceable mechanical rooftop units located within 10' from roof edges that are below 42" above finished roof with a drop of more than 30" above finished roof or grade. Estimated combined roof area at Pod D is approximately (+/- 73,346) square feet as defined on sheet G001 (Contractor to field verify total area of work). The removal and re-installation of the lightning protection system is included in the project scope of work. The removal and replacement of existing prefabricated skylight unit domes and exiting PVC piping at existing AHUs to roof drains; the raising and/or reworking of existing curbs at existing RTU's, condenser units and exhaust fans, are included in the project scope. The partial removal and replacement of deteriorated vertical expansion joint sealant(s) and backer rod(s) of concrete walls within the areas in contract are included in the project scope of work. 3. Pedestrian safety barriers and fencing are included in the project scope of work as defined by the contract documents. |
