Description | ** As of January 25, 2023 all bids rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** Bids must be submitted upon the Bid Form in the manner designated on or before the scheduled time in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the name and address of the Bidder on the outside of the envelope along with the date and hour of opening, and project being bid. The Owner will consider only those bid proposals received from Prime/Bidding Contractors that have received bid documents from the Owners Architect. Arrangements to pick up Bid documents may be made by contacting the Architect, (856) 875 2792, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. General Contractors, and all subcontractors must be a licensed, registered public work contractor by the State of New Jersey. All questions must be submitted in writing, on the form provided, to the Architects office by 4:00 PM, November 17, 2022. If required, addenda will be sent to bidders November 18, 2022. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified or cashiers check payable to Township of Monroe for ten percent of the bid amount, or an acceptable bid bond. A Consent of Surety or Bid Letter from an approved surety company stating that they will provide payment performance and completion bond for one hundred percent of the contract price, if a contract is awarded, must also accompany the bid. Bids must include the completed Corporate Ownership Disclosure, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and the No Material Change of Circumstances Affidavit forms. Refer to the other bidding requirements described in the Instruction to Bidders and Supplemental Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) (Anti-Discrimination Law). All successful bidders shall comply with the requirements of the New Jersey Affirmative Action Regulations, and N.J.A.C. 10:5-31 et seq. (Equal Employment Opportunities for Minorities and Women) and submit the appropriate documentation. It is agreed by submission of a proposal that the bid price shall be irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) days from the bid opening date. Township of Monroe reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in any bid or bids, to accept such bid or bids, and to make such awards as may be in the best interests of the Township of Monroe. Commence work on the site within two (2) weeks of the Notice to Award. Date of Substantial Completion is one ( 1 ) month from the date of the Notice to Award Contract. |
